 Syeraa Narasimha Reddy, also known as simply SyeRaa or Syeraa, is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language biographical epic action film directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan under the Konidela Production Company banner. The film will be dubbed and released in Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil.[7] The story is based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh.[8] The film stars Chiranjeevi in the title role along with Nayanthara as the lead female along with a resemble supporting cast of Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah, Jagapati Babu and Niharika Konidela in lead roles.[9][10] Amitabh Bachchan will make a guest appearance.[11]
Filming began in Hyderabad on 6 December 2017.[12] The film is scheduled to be released theatrically worldwide on 2 October 2019.[3]

Indiaglitz quoted Rajamouli as saying, "This is a historic movie. I first congratulate Paruchuri Brothers for conceiving the idea of telling Narasimha Reddy's story. It was a Telugu warrior to have waged the first rebellion against the British. Ram Charan dared to produce the movie and Sye Raa is a gift not just to Chiranjeevi garu but everyone (sic)."

Rajamouli also revealed an exciting trivia about Chiranjeevi's film. He said that the film has about 3800 VFX shots while Baahubali had only 2300 VFX shots. He said, "I know how difficult it is to make an emotional film in the milieu of VFX. I congratulate director Surender Reddy for pulling it off."
Chiranjeevi and Rajamouli are yet to team for a project. However, Megastar played a cameo in the director's film Magadheera, which had Ram Charan in the lead role.
